Adelshofen

Imagine my delight as we pulled into town and I recognized this building from my family research, confirming I was in the right place!

Evangelische Pfarrkirche St. Nazarius Built 1830–1834/35 in the classical Weinbrenner style by architect Karl August Schwarz. Distinctive half-round (semi-rotunda) floor plan and prominent clock tower. Built on the site of the church Johann Dietrich and Andreas were baptized in.

Cemetery directly behind the church has modern headstones.  An apple orchard is next to it and open field behind it that is very likely part of the original burial grounds.
